Attorney Profiles

Jacqueline Sharman represents clients in a variety of legal areas. She regularly represents clients all over the Richmond area and often travels as far north as Spotsylvania County, as far west as James City County, and as far south Hopewell, Virginia. Mrs. Sharman represents clients in many areas of law including family law, bankruptcy, traffic, criminal, and estate planning.

Much of the work Ms. Sharman handles relates to family law. She regularly handles family law matters that range from pre-nuptial agreements, property settlement agreements, uncontested and contested divorces, custody disputes, and support matters. Ms. Sharman recognizes that children are often the victims of divorce and she is sensitive to the needs of families with children.

Another aspect of Mrs. Sharman's law practice is bankruptcy law. She represents debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. With the changes in our economy Mrs. Sharman represents many bankruptcy clients who need relief from their personal and business debt. She recognizes that bankruptcy is an important and critical decision and she carefully reviews the entire bankruptcy process with her clients.

Jacqueline Sharman graduated from Regent University School of Law in 2005 and has been practicing law in Virginia since she passed the Virginia Bar Exam in 2005. Before joining Coates & Davenport, P.C. she worked for Pagano & Associates, P.C. for 5.5 years. She learned an excellent foundation to her current practice while working for Pagano & Associates, P.C.

Mrs. Sharman is a wife and a mother. She and her family enjoy football, travel, the outdoors, and bagels. Husband and entrepreneur, Kevin Sharman owns and operates a New York style bagel shop in Richmond's Carytown district.
